34th WEDC International Conference : CALL FOR PAPERS

The Call for Papers for the 34th WEDC International Conference is now available. For further information, please see http://www.wedcconference.co.uk/call_for_papers.php or email wedc.conf@Lboro.ac.uk

The Conference will be held at the United Nations Conference Centre, Addis Ababa from 18 to 22 May 2009, by invitation of the Ministry of Water Resources, Ethiopia and WEDC, UK.

The title of the Conference will be
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene: Sustainable Development and Multisectoral Approaches.

The WEDC International Conference is a week long, practitioner and research focused conference, exchanging knowledge and experiences in the water and sanitation sector. Papers are invited for review or for refereeing by the International Scientific Committee, and there will also be poster presentations, discussion sessions and side events.

I am very interested wth the programme. I would like to participate but i dont have the capacity interms of finance. By the way i need to findout whats exact program or system for one to participate. I have alot knowledge in General Sanitation and need to expand also sharing to others. I am the founder and the Director of Kandeu Youth Organisation in Ntcheu North East in Malawi.

This is a good development for the NGOs working on water, hyriene and environmental sanitations issues. As a coordinator of a Public Interest Coalition (PIC) an organisation that is currently working on environmental sanitation in Oyo State, South West Nigeria. I would like to attend this conference so that our capacity could be strengthen on the issue of hygiene and sanitations.Please send details. Segundpj@yahoo.co.uk

It is a good initiative to discuss on as conference platform about the water, sanitationa sanitation and hygiene which is a very importnat in ensuring health and well-being of the people. If possible, I prefer to attend as I live in Addis where the conference is to be hosted.
