Hello Sir,
How are you doing?
It’s our pleasure to let you know that we are an NGO: Anil Bandhu Lahiri Memorial Society (Raiganj, West Bengal – 733134). The Society runs three different Cells, namely Literacy, Health and Environment. The prime goal of the society is to ameliorate the status of living of the people around the locality. According to a recent survey carried out by CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICE OF HEALTH, our district Uttar Dinajpur (West Bengal – 733 134,India) is now in second position (Projected) among 604 districts in India in terms of HIV-positives. Most of the people in our district are not literate and economically backward. They used to go to the other industrially developed states like Delhi, Rajasthan, Maharastra etc in search of a job. In the process they receive HI virus while they are earning enough money. They are not conscious enough regarding health related problem like HIV/AIDS. Things are even getting much complicated with the simultaneously increasing advent of T. B.
We have been making arrangement of awareness camps since its commencement regarding HIV/AIDS at the different places like Motels (Beside the National High Way 34 and 31), Colleges, Schools (With the students of XI & XII), Villages and social gatherings in towns etc, all over our district. All the awareness camps are being done with the help of our donated money from the well wishers but this donated money is so small that we are facing different monetary problems for making arrangements. We would be highly obliged if you kindly acknowledge our case and stretch your helping hand in near future. We desperately need a spring in our stride.
It is our target to aware all the people living in our district, that means, to literate all the people regarding HIV/AIDS. Because, education is the only key to immunization to prevent AIDS.
It’s our duty to keep the society in good shape.
Eagerly waiting for your reply.
Thanking you
Yours faithfully
Ashim Bandhu Lahiri
